We are pleased to recognize our leading investors in Portalarium. Their financial participation in the company has helped us raise $3.6 million dollars in the last two years, money that is currently being used to develop and launch Ultimate Collector: Garage Sale, as well as to further build out our technological platform and backend infrastructure.

Founders Fund was one of the first investors in Portalarium in 2010. The San Francisco-based venture fund then added another round of capital to Portalarium’s second raise in 2011. Advisory Board

Barbara Kaczynski
Barbara is the managing director of Red Birch Partners, LLC, a privately held firm engaged in providing operational, strategic and business advisory services to companies in the fields of finance, technology, media and entertainment. Her career includes extensive senior level and board experience in the media and entertainment industry including positions on the board of directors and audit committee for video game giant, Take Two Interactive. She’s also served as CFO for the National Football League and in various senior financial capacities at Time, Inc. including VP Finance and Controller. Barbara is a certified public accountant and holds a M.B.A.
                                     in finance from New York University's Stern School of Business Administration.

 Laetitia Pichot  de Cayeux
Laetitia is the Founder/CEO of New York-based investment firm Ajna Capital, LLC, and serves as the Portfolio Manager of Ajna Partners, LP, a global long-short equity fund. She was previously an Investment Partner in Renaissance Technologies’ Meritage Group and an investment principal at TPG-Axon in New-York  and Hong-Kong. She started her career in the Investment Banking division of Goldman Sachs & Co in London in 1999, after which she earned an MBA degree from Harvard Business School where she won the Dubilier Prize. She received in 2010  Institutional Investor magazine’s “Hedge Fund Rising Star Award."

Heidi Messer
Heidi is the co-founder and CEO of World Evolved, LLC, a start-up headquartered in New York City working on a variety of massively scalable systems related to web applications and services. She is also chairman at Cross Commerce Media, which operates the first cross media analytics network. Earlier Heidi co-founded LinkShare Corporation, host to one of the largest international affiliate marketing networks. Previously she practiced corporate law with Baker and Botts. A recognized online marketing authority, Heidi has been cited in the New York Times, Chief Executive Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily and Internet Retailer. She has appeared on national television
                                    and radio programs including Business Talk Radio, Fox News, CBS Morning News and the
                                    Fox Morning Show. Heidi has a B.A. from Brown University and obtained her J.D. from Harvard Law.

 
Barney Pell 
Barney was Founder and CEO of Powerset, a San-Francisco startup company acquired by Microsoft Corporation, where he just completed work as Chief Architect of the Bing search service. He is also a founder of Moon Express, Inc., a U.S. company awarded a $10M commercial lunar contract by NASA and is a competitor in the Google Lunar X PRIZE. Previously he was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Mayfield Fund, a venture capital firm in Silicon Valley. A recognized expert on Autonomous Agents and Human/Agent Interaction, Dr. Pell has published over 30 technical papers on topics related to information retrieval, knowledge management, machine
                                    learning, artificial intelligence, and scheduling systems. He is also an avid gamer. Barney
                                    received his B.S. from Stanford and obtained his Ph.D. in computer science from Cambridge
                                    University.
